Liverpool manager Klopp reveals he wants Villagers as players
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he wants to sign Villagers for the rest of the season as part of a bid to improve the club’s Champions League prospects.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Klopp said: “I think I can say that we need to be a bit more positive with our transfer policy.
We are talking about a few players and they will come here for a short period of time and then we will talk about other players.””
We are trying to do our best.
We are talking about a few players and they will come here for a short period of time and then we will talk about other players.”
Villa are one of a number of clubs with interest in signing Villagers but Klopp insists they will not be sold this summer.
He said: I don’t think that is the case.
The club will not change our attitude to the transfer market because they have done a great job and I am really pleased about that.””
But the Villagers will be here and I think they will help us in our Champions League chances.”

We are very proud to have made a great move for them.
“It’s good for us to have the option of bringing them in for the next four years.”
But I am confident that they will do well in this Champions League and that we will be able to win it.
“If we don’t, then it is a shame for Liverpool because we can get the next Champions League trophy and it would be a great achievement.”
Hopefully we will get the Champions Cup and I’m very happy for the club because we will have that trophy and for the fans.
